More Being 50ish inspired by My Octopus Teacher w/ Julie Flakstad--Part 1 Everwell’s popular series is BACK this fall with a (2) part program using the Oscar-winning documentary My Octupus Teacher as inspiration. This workshop-style program will focus on what lights us up, how to make ourselves ‘safely' uncomfortable and how to find the best teachers at this moment in our lives. Being 50ish facilitator, Julie Flakstad, will join Everwell's Co-Founder Lindsay Hurty to guide this self-reflective program that will continue to reframe what BEING 50ish looks like for you!

The plan:

Pre-session: We recommend that participants watch the documentary, My Octopus Teacher, through the Everwell lens. Use the provided worksheet + guided prompts to help reflect on the film.

Session 1: September 13, 7:30-8:30pm EST via ZOOM
A discussion + workshop that exposes how the film's themes can support our personal development so that we may design individualized growth goals.

Between Sessions 1 + 2, participants are encouraged to focus on their personal goals with structured guidance from the worksheets.

Session 2: September 27, 7:30-8:30pm via ZOOM
A moderated group discussion on where we've come, how we crave continued growth, and insight on continuing the journey.
